Welcome to Recovery!

The name says it all - R.E.H.A.B. Christian Center's central focus is to become the perfect place for imperfect people.  The church, or body of believers, was never designed for or meant to serve the perfect; instead, it's an hospital for the sick, and those with problems, issues, habits, and afflictions that they themselves cannot break.  Your visit to R.E.H.A.B. is your first step to RECOVERY!  We're more than a church - it's a movement!

Our Vision

Our vision is to become the city's church, meeting the spiritual and natural needs of people in order to ensure achievement in life, salvation, and ministry.

Our Mission

The R.E.H.A.B. Christian Center seeks to nurture the spiritual and natural needs of individuals and entities through the practical and relevant application of God’s Word.  We apply Christian principles and values that will promote and aid in the realization of a meaningful and successful livelihood for all people, especially the unsaved, the unchurched, the imperfect, the disadvantaged, and those who have no voice.  Our actions will live, breathe, and be consumed by Matthew 25:35-36...."For I was hungry, and you gave me meat:  I was thirsty, and you gave me drink:  I was a stranger, and you took me in:  naked, and you clothed me:  I was sick, and you visited me:  I was in prison, and you came to me."

What We Believe - in 3 simple statements

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, who is above all others, and who exists characteristically as the God of creation, Jesus Christ through redemption on earth, and the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for our sins, was buried in a grave and pronounced dead for 3 days, yet rose from that grave and lives today with all power to forgive and free us from sin.

  • We believe that the confession of Jesus’ existence, His life, death, burial, and resurrection are essential as the only way to salvation.

5 Key Principles of our Church (R.E.H.A.B.)

  1. RESTORE - critical to our focus is the restoration of the broken and the lost.  We believe that everyone deserves another chance in life, because Jesus Christ has afforded us many chances.  Because of this, we are determined to reach the lost, the broken, the discouraged, the abandoned, and the imperfect in order to restore them to a place of wholeness.  Our focus is the first commandment - love.  We will demonstrate genuine humility and love, and will extend ourselves to reach and help all people.

  2. EVANGELIZE - our number one focus.  Central to everything we do is the evangelism of the lost, the unsaved, the imperfect, and those who desire a new start in life.  We believe that no one is too flawed to have a future, and that in fact, the more flaws you have the bigger and brighter your future can be.  We seek to reach all people, regardless of race or socioeconomic status, but we have a heart for people who think they don't "fit in" with the church.  We will be the model for excellent ministry and customer service in our city, and will demonstrate a standard for excellence in how we treat our members, guests, and visitors at all times.

  3. HOPE - this is what we intend to provide through our services, programs, and special events.  We will always focus on outreach programs for broken and hurting people such as the poor, those who may have experienced some form of abuse (physical, mental, emotional, substance, etc.), the incarcerated, or anyone with any disadvantage who needs help and a voice.

  4. ALTERNATIVE - we are a HYBRID church, and we will empower youth, young adults, and people uncomfortable in traditional church settings through practical teaching and application of the Bible, and through the purposeful use of programs, resources, technology, and training.  We will inspire the future through innovation and provide them Jesus as the alternative through nontraditional alternatives.

  5. BREAKTHROUGH - we will impact the city of Greensboro and surrounding areas through prayer, outreach, crusades, community development, and partnerships with local schools, community, city, and state officials.  This will occur through the holistic development of every member of our church.  We believe that God wants to do more through us than within us, so our ability to help others is contingent on getting help ourselves.  We will develop our members, and make available the necessary resources and qualified professionals to assist with their holistic development.
